The Basics of Achieving Peace and Prosperity

Gaining peace and prosperity is not impossible. It can be achieved through gaining insights on how we can use our freedoms to realize world peace and prosperity. Everything starts with a genuine pursuit of happiness and equality. The rest will just fall into place. The important thing in getting peace and prosperity is to know what are the things that we need to have in order to make this world a better place.

Respect

Respect is important and the basic of the tenets of achieving peace and prosperity. We cannot have peace without respect. It is the foundation of what we hope for and what this world would become to be. Without respect, our hopes of having a great and unified society will never get off the ground. Even if we are able to make the wheels running; the absence of respect will become a monkey wrench that will put things to a halt. Respect is everything and without it everything will fall into shambles.  Needless to say, that all of us must show respect to one another regardless of race, religion, nationality and gender. One little act of disrespect is already enough to spark the flame of chaos which could eventually lead to conflict and war. Thus, we must show respect to everyone, at all times. 

 

Honesty

Honesty, as they say, is a lonely word. Being untrue breeds corruption which is the enemy of unity and prosperity. Without honesty our hopes of having a peaceful and happy world is a pipe dream. Nothing can exist without honesty and integrity. We should be bound with an honor code which will make laws obsolete as we march forward to a general direction where honesty is the only thing in town. Money and treasures will become obsolete if we learn to become honest and true to our fellowmen. We have to believe that in this chaotic world that we are living in honesty still exists.

Truth

Can you tell the difference between you and the person looking back at you on the mirror? It is the truth that is inverted. Now what if truth is staring back at the same plane as you are? Then there would be truth and liars will no longer exist. The backbone of the existence of peace and prosperity is adherence to the truth. Nothing can exist in a lie. If we course all of our maneuverings without truth, we could never have a genuine and lasting peace. One cannot be untrue for the reason that everyone around him is a liar. Strive to be true even if the world around you is living a lie. 

Justice

Justice is simply providing what is due to you. You cannot reap what you did not sow. Inability to understand this concept will never lead to peace. The road to peace is always paved with justice and truth. Nothing can originate that brings peace and prosperity without justice on their side. Even if the pursuit of justice may bring one much stress and anxiety, this should never be the reason why an individual must stop seeking for justice. It may be hard sometimes but, we must do our best to be just not only to ourselves but to everyone around us as well.

Want only your needs

If the human race extricates from the bondage of wants; then it is halfway towards achieving prosperity. Much of the misunderstandings in this world come from greed. If only people would realize that the world’s resources are enough without hurting the planet, then we can truly say that we have achieved a level of prosperity unimaginable throughout history.

Achieving peace and prosperity may not happen in our lifetime. It will become our legacy if we start sowing the seeds today, so that our children can reap the benefits tomorrow.
